Hi friends! This has been a really eventful week over here in Seattle. It started out with snow (!!!!) on Monday and it was really only 3 inches but I think it was a city-wide decision to just use it as an excuse for an adult snow-day. Then yesterday there was some sort of wind storm and now here we are and it’s Friday!! Also I am talking about the weather to describe my week so I kind of feel old. Oh well.
So anyways, Drew and I decided that we needed to start going to the gym a little more often. After almost wiping out on the stair stepper a time or two (maybe more than that), we usually call it a day and leave. 10 minutes later, there is a 99% chance you can find us in the kitchen just starring in the fridge and pantry hoping for something to appear. You know the feeling of getting done with a workout and all you want is chocolate? Yeah, me too. And guess what?! Here is our solution people.
Peanut butter, milk, unsweetend cocoa powder, a frozen banana and boom, it’s like drinking a chocolate shake but deep down you still feel good about yourself because it’s healthier. I’ve even had it for breakfast because it’s that good and so dang easy and who wouldn’t want chocolate for breakfast?
Chocolate Banana Shake
makes: 1 shake
prep time: 5 minutes
total time: 5 minutes
1 frozen banana
1.5 cups of milk
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
put all ingredients in the blender and mix it all up!
